The book is "the first concise look at the rebirth of minimalism in graphic design. The 288 page book features 160 designers working in the fields of branding, packaging, record sleeves, editorial and campaign design."

Come join us at Open School East for OOMK's Future Library Publishing Fair, 19th December 2-7pm
We invite you to join us for the event publication of PaperWork Magazine Issue II: Act Natural; an evening of readerly performances, audio and video works from some of our contributors.
Event publishing (publishing as live event) involves itself in contingency, in awkwardness and possible failure. Writing is made to perform - as speech, sound and other vocalisations! Through live action and the distributive act of making public, the printed object is interrupted; it goes off on a tangent.

PaperWork Magazine is a stone hitting the surface — an anticipation of echos. Pages are the first event. Installations, exhibitions, and words spoken out loud will be their documentation. This is not a place to put things, but an expression of Thing-Y-Ness. This is free pleasure in mixed metaphor and delight in the emancipation of grammars and ink. Collaboration results in assorted chinks and cracks that let voices soak through, a feathering blot of: artist-writer-reader-looker-passerbyneigh- bourhood-dweller-the-immoderately-curious. Eyes, ears, tongues to the front.
